Dating back to the early 17th century, Tullymurry was extended to today's design in Georgian times and renovated in 2012 by the Irish Landmark Fund.
This delightful country house is set over 2 floors, with the welcoming large country kitchen, atmospheric dining and music rooms downstairs. Also downstairs is a twin bedroom, ideal for those with limited mobility.
Upstairs are the remaining four bedrooms, two doubles (one of which ensuite) and two charming singles.
The house is equipped with three bathrooms including one downstairs, with two baths and two showers available in total.
Thanks to its recent painstaking restoration, Tullymurry retains that traditional Irish country feel while offering a comfortable stay to even the most demanding guests.
Enjoy a taste of modern luxury in the fancy wellness area with hot-tub, cedar-wood sauna, showers and relaxation area.
Step outside to enjoy the Irish countryside in the wonderful old farmyard and established gardens.
"Really enjoyed our stay here – our first in an Irish Landmark Trust house – hopefully not our last."

"Four nights of wonderful, warm, welcome respite from the daily grind in Dublin. We couldn’t have asked for more on a weekend away. Thanks!"

We had an amazing stay at Tullymurry House. The property was so clean it sparkled! The kitchen and pantry were very well stocked with every cooking utensil / appliance you could possibly need. Loved the decor and space and wonderful sense of peacefulness throughout. The wellness area was perfect and added so much to the whole experience. Another bonus was the large garden full of interesting features. We would very much recommend this property.

Stayed with a few friends for a relaxing ladies weekend away. From the very moment we pulled up the tree lined avenue we immediately felt like ladies of the manor. Lorraine was so warm and welcoming and gave us a fabulous tour of the house and grounds. She explained everything to us perfectly (including the few spots around the house where we could get phone signal if we wanted to - but none of us wanted to!!) and then left us to get settled in. My goodness did we settle in!!. The house is meticulously clean, has everything that you need, even some of the little things we didn't realise we forgot to take such as tinfoil, was so warm and cosy, and just perfect in every sense of the word. The gorgeous formal dining room and very comfy sitting room we didn't use much as we all spent the whole time around the fabulous kitchen table together eating, laughing, talking, reconnecting, playing board games, baking and having a pasta making lesson from one of the feeders of the group. When we were not around the kitchen table we made good use of the wellness area. Talk about feeling the stress fade away! It was just the best weekend we have ever spent as a group of friends and we have known each other a very long time. The star of this property is Lorraine though. You can see how well she takes care of Tullymurry and her passion for the property just beams from her as she shows you around. Will definitely be back with family or friends again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tullymurry House. It felt like a real adventure and even the teenager coped well without wifi! The house is beautiful and so atmospheric and the spa area is just amazing. Loads of cooking equipment provided and condiments as well as washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc. Location wise it's handy for both Dublin & Belfast. We took the kids to Tayto Park while we were here - it took just over an hour to get there and they loved it, despite the rain. We can't wait to return, maybe in the winter time this time as I'd love to see it with all the fires and range lit. Special thanks to Lorraine who was so welcoming and lovely.
