Area Newton Poppleford is a small village resting within the East Devonshire countryside, between Exeter and Sidmouth. The main street plays host to a church, a pub, a restaurant and a Post Office with village shop. The surrounding area offers great walks, as well as the River Otter running nearby and the Woodbury Common, with its RSPB reserve. Further afield is the port town of Exmouth and the the seaside town of Sidmouth, both of which promise great days out by the sea.
