Outside, there is off-road parking for eight cars and an enclosed garden with furniture. There is a highchair, travel cot and stairgate available. WiFi, fuel, power, bed line and towels are all included in the price. Two well-behaved dog’s welcome (£15 per dog, per week); however, no smoking allowed. Within 2.1 miles there is a shop and within 1.2 miles, a pub. The Tithe Barn is a beautiful base for exploring the rolling countryside of Devon. due to the proximity to a working farm, it is imperative that the gates must be kept closed if there are dogs and children around, unless dogs and children are in the bottom part of the garden, which can be secured separately by way of closing the little gate.

There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are varied and interesting. Visit Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks, and the cliff train. Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge, and Withypool are among Exmoor's attractions. Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are also worth a visit, as are Woolacombe, Saunton, and Croyde.
