This home is charming, peaceful, and very unique. The grounds are perfectly manicured with paths for walking and a dock by the lake for relaxing.

A beautiful period lakeside lodge with unbelievable views and amenities. All the comforts of home, very comfortable beds, absolutely everything you need in the kitchen including some welcoming bread, milk, tea coffee etc. We really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding, wandering around the beautiful grounds. There is also so much to do nearby Quin, Bunratty, Ennis, Limerick etc and you’ll pick up shopping & takeaways in Sixmilebridge. To echo previous reviews the photos online don’t do it justice so you have to come and see for yourselves, we’ll definitely be back.

Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks at Mount Cashel Lodge. It is such a beautiful location with fabulous views of the lake from the gorgeous stone house. Our kids loved checking each morning to see if the hens had laid any eggs, feeding the donkeys carrots and playing with the 3 friendliest and gentlest dogs. It is well located for exploring the surrounding area visiting Lahinch and Kilkee for the beaches, the Aran islands, cliffs of moher, the burren, Galway, the list is endless. Our favourite days though were spent beside the lake, playing on the paddleboards and kayaks and just jumping off the pontoon. The kids caught their first fish on the lake. It is such a special place and you would never tire of the view of the lake. We didn't want to leave. Thanks for everything Pat and Annette.
