The Stables is a wonderful mid-19th Century brick and flint cottage in a classic setting, overlooking the village green and cricket pitch, with a pub just a few strides away. Completely refurbished, the owners have created a gorgeous retreat with character and comfort in mind. One of the delights of the cottage, is the garden, which is a sun trap and has a summer house and a small arbour seat. Mainly on one level, with one or two internal steps here and there, comfortable beds, cosy sofas and a lovely open plan dining/kitchen space are waiting to welcome you in. Aldborough is one of Norfolk's hidden gems, an attractive village with plenty of walks and cycle routes nearby, a good village shop, a children's play area on the village green, and the beach is only 20 minutes away.
