Area Resting on the banks of the spectacular River Avon is the peaceful village and civil parish, Durrington. Dating back to the Neolithic era, this historic village is known for being close to the iconic Stonehenge, with its own ancient landmarks Durrington Walls and Woodhenge being a point of interest also. There is a handful of shops and pubs, while further amenities can be found in the nearby town of Amesbury or the cathedral city of Salisbury.
