Over 1200 years old and perched high atop a rocky outcrop at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees, this home is a dream. South-facing terraces mean phenomenal views, whether it's the sunset, the stars or the eagles and vultures flying over the lake. With lots of winding steps indoors and leading up to its isolated location, this home won't be ideal for guests with limited mobility. But the private pool, spa facilities, stocked library and private chef mean you won't have to leave the house to have a fantastic time.
Home truths: *There is free on-site parking here.
*Not all bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, but we expect consistency in style and quality throughout this home.
*Due to the number of stairs in and around this home and gaps in the external steps, this home won't be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Toddlers and small children should always be supervised in the outdoor areas of this home, as the pool is unfenced and there is a 300m drop over the terrace balcony. While there are railings, there are small gaps.
*Super-fast broadband via Starlink is available.
*The 'village' nearby has no facilities, so you'll have to drive a little to reach the nearest restaurants, cafes and shops.
