Located in the pulsating heart of Tel Aviv, The Playground is a fun place to stay. Not only does it have a colourful theme, but it also comes with plenty of playful design touches – we particularly enjoyed the dog head and football table. Although the grid-like lattice across the windows might not be to everyone’s taste, the living room is still super bright and filled with natural light. Perfect as a base for exploring the city, there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

*It’s split across two floors – you have to climb about twenty steps to reach the first floor
*It can get a little loud when the windows are open – this home is in a very central location
*Unfortunately, the football table was a little tired looking when we visited – it could do with some love
*The grid-like lattice across the windows in the living area might not be to everyone’s taste
