This boho-chic apartment sits just a short stroll from the soft-sanded beaches of central Tel Aviv. Reach the shimmering Mediterranean sea in just five minutes on foot. In the surrounding streets, you’ve got traditional bakeries for morning pastries, Israeli restaurants and trendy eateries. Carmel Market, Tel Aviv’s largest market selling everything under the sun, is just a five-minute walk.
Big warehouse-style windows let the sunshine stream into the living room, where raw wood, wicker and ink-black accents give a boho feel. The kitchen is tucked away in a separate room and has everything you need for self-catering – perhaps using the fresh produce on offer at Carmel Market. Our favourite thing about this home is the cute private terrace with its bistro seating. There’s enough room for two on the wooden decking and the rockery adds some tranquil greenery.
Home truths: *There are a few steps from the living room to the kitchen and bedroom, so this place may not be suitable for those with very limited mobility
*One side of the double bed is against the window of the bedroom
*At capacity, two guests will be on a sofa bed in the living room
