On the slopes of Lake Como, this villa is a short drive from the village of Colico (7 kilometres away) and the buzzing lakeside town of Varenna (14 kilometres away). The garden backs onto the lakeside, and you’ve got a view of the glassy water from the swimming pool and private hot tub – perfect after a day of watersports on the lake. Dining and sunning terraces take in the beautiful view from all levels. Inside, big windows in the bedrooms let you wake to a lake view. There’s a certain charm to the 1960s decor and the kitchen is sleek and modern – it comes pre-stocked with groceries and you'll be welcomed with a complimentary dinner.

*While not all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*At capacity, one guest will be on an additional pull-out bed in the single bedroom.
*The living and dining areas are both downstairs, so this place may not suit those with limited mobility.
*A maid service is included for three hours per week. A welcome dinner and pre-stocked groceries are also included.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced and there's a drop at the edge of the garden. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*In a fairly remote location, having a car is recommended. There is private parking within the grounds of the villa.
