The lounge beneath the pergola is perfect for an evening tipple. Heading inside, it’s bright and sunny for a basement-level apartment thanks to the bay window in the living room. There’s a laptop desk to get some work done and a big kitchen for family-sized meals. The bedrooms are a little small in comparison, but the central location in Shepherd’s Bush (a short hop from Kensington) more than makes up for it.

*The main bedroom is narrow but very long – space on either side of the bed may be limited.
*This home is on the basement level with steps to the entrance, so it may not suit those with limited mobility.
*There is a dedicated laptop desk in the living room for those working remotely.
*There is street parking right outside of this home. That said, having a car is not necessary in this area.
