This Victorian house overlooks Salcombe harbour and is perfect for groups of friends or families. From the front terrace, you’ve got stunning views of the estuary where boats bob in the water. An outdoor shower is ideal for rinsing off sand after a day at the nearby beach, while the barbecue and sun loungers provide a great spot for alfresco dining. Choose to hang out by the fireplace in the open-plan living area, or seclude away in the separate sitting room with its glorious window seat. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms – two have en-suite shower rooms, one has bunk beds for older kids, and another has postcard-perfect panoramas of the water.
Home truths: *This home has steps up to the front door and all the bedrooms are upstairs. It may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
*The bunk beds are only suited to children, but the top bunk is not suitable for kids under 6 years old. There is a steep drop from the terrace, so young children should be supervised at all times outside.
*The centre of Salcombe is a short walk away but there is also private parking in the garage for one car (with an EV charger) and room for a second smaller car.
*You'll need to supply your own Nespresso pods to use the coffee machine.
