This delightful family home boasts wonderful views of Gilling Gap from the first-floor bedrooms. The home was originally owned by a family of stonemasons who worked on local churches, houses and schools – there’s a real sense of history here. Best of all, this house is located on the southern boundary of the North Yorkshire Moors, just north of the Howardian Hills. It’s a great spot for hiking and cycling. Historic Helmsley is just a five-minute drive away.
Home truths: *This home is spread over three floors so may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. There’s also a low beam at the top of the stairs leading to the second floor – taller guests will need to take care.
*Bedroom two can be set up with twin beds if preferred, just let your host know.
*Your host can provide two cots and high chairs and a stairgate for little ones on request.
