The Duck House

The Duck House is a beautifully restored stone cottage on the scenic grounds of the Falls Hotel & Spa in County Clare.

Nestled in a mature wooded vale beside the tumbling waters of the River Inagh, the Falls Hotel & Spa conceals within its walls an eighteenth-century mansion, a late medieval castle, and a formidable history of four and a half centuries.

The Duck House was originally occupied by the gardeners of the mansion. However after falling into disrepair in 1936 the ducks living on the grounds saw the potential and adopted this building as their own.

The building was tastefully restored and is now a luxurious house rental with all modern facilities. Located across the courtyard from the River Spa and the Aqua & Fitness Club, The Duck House overlooks the river and has it's own private parking and garden.

Guests of the self-catering cottage have complimentary access to the hotel's Aqua & Fitness Club.
