A lot of time and thought has been put into converting the historic chapel that is now The Burrow. Nestled in a tranquil spot of countryside surrounded by rolling hills, the space feels authentically rustic but still comfortable and elegant. The tall arch windows provide floods of natural light and beautiful views of the landscape, including the inviting (and heated) swimming pool. While remote location would be difficult for guests without a car, it also makes it a great spot for a romantic getaway.
Home truths: *The kitchen is only suited to fairly basic levels of cooking.
*The home is on the same plot of land as the hosts’ home, though there’s plenty of space between the two.
*The parking at this home can be tricky for some.
*The bedroom is on a mezzanine level only accessible by stairs.
*The swimming pool is typically open from April to October, depending on the weather. It is heated, has a counter current system for swimming against and is for your sole use whilst you are in – if you are out for the day, your host may ask to use it sometimes.
*As seen in the photos, there is a dining table but no chairs.
