The Blue Marske

A stone's throw from the gently sloping sand and shingle beach of Marske, this quirky cottage is proof that nowhere does eccentric quite like the British seaside. Each of the rooms is individually decorated in a selection of seaside shades that evoke the nearby coast, with eye-catching wallpapers and artwork throughout.

The seaside theme runs throughout the home, with the occasional departure including a giraffe's head that emerges from the wall by the dining table, and a tiger throw and Big Five-themed wallpaper in one of the bedrooms. All in all, it creates a light-hearted atmosphere that's perfect for getaways with family and friends.

On sunny days, throw open the doors to the terrace and serve up alfresco lunches as your top up your vitamin D in the sheltered courtyard garden. Afterwards, walk off your lunch with a stroll north towards Redcar, or south to Saltburn – both are within a few miles of your front door.
