5 families headed to the Beach Halt for our yearly weekend away.... what a place, the owners have thorght of everything. Toys for the kids, high chairs, open plan living which is great for a night in together after a day visiting Cornwall, cute welcome pack and toiletries pack for each bathroom, out door shower was great after the day at the beach, an the beds and 100% luxury cotton sheets give you the best night. Location is perfect, 10 min walk into the town, and a visit to the Watering Hole on the beach is a much. Thanks Beach Halt for the memories, we will be back xx

The Beach Halt was probably the most comfortable holiday home I have stayed in. The house is spacious, modern, stylishly decorated and well equipped. The Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, powerful rainshower showerheads and comfortable beds were lovely. Most of the rooms face south with lovely country side views, making the house bright light and airy. Our stay was in October and the weather was mixed, I can only imagine what it must be like in the Summer with the bifold doors open to the garden. We have a large family and none of us could fault the house. Jo the owner was friendly and gave us lots of info. The house is located down a track off the road, but no problem to drive to.
it is easy to walk downhill to the beach and town (10/15 minutes), lovely countryside walks nearby. I would not hesitate to recommend The Beach Halt. We will return.

A fantastically presented property with excellent facilities and easy walk into town.

Some points to note: parking is tricky; automatic lights and fans in bathrooms very loud and bright in the middle of the night (spot lights generally not good for people who wear glasses) and don’t stay on very long - kept going off while bathing my son and we weren’t exactly still; cot-bed doesn’t include a mattress and though it says up to 36mth not if your 18mth old is nearly 90cm already; bedroom doors very sound proof - the baby only woke us and no one else; all the beds have footboards - not good for anyone over 6’.

The Beach Halt is in a fabulous location in Perranporth and within walking distance from all the local amenities as well being in such a great spot to explore the south Cornwall coast. The view from the top bedroom really is something special and the walk down to the beach is lovely whatever the weather. We found everything clean and tidy and all the facilities you need from a self catering holiday.

Airy, tasteful decor. Large living area with fold back doors to the patio and perfect sized garden for our grandchildren to run around. Beds were super comfy with high thread count linen and fluffy white towels in the bathrooms. Everything was of a high finish with added touches of a great games cupboard for the children and the adults and a lovely welcome pack of food goodies which was greatly appreciated. Great communication from the owner who even texted us during our journey to say that the house was ready earlier for our arrival. Just would have loved a guest book to write in to pass on our thanks! Cannot recommend highly enough.
