This thriving town boasts market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays, when both sides of the High Street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce, plus on the fourth Wednesday of the month the market is joined by a farmers' market. Despite its modest size, Northallerton has a number of independent and national shops, including Betty’s Tea Rooms, Lewis & Cooper, an outstanding delicatessan and wine merchant, award-winning butcher’s, artisan baker, greengrocers, two department stores, several supermarkets and bookshops.

The barn is an incredible place to stay! I have previously stayed at the lodges but this time I decided to stay at the barn! It was amazing! Spacious & stylish! There is an incredible new bed fitted with LED lights! The bed was so huge - comfy, warm & toasty! The window & hot tub oversees fields of greens & we was lucky enough to have sunny weather too! Cliff & Maxwell were as friendly as ever! Pointing us in the right direction to explore also!
Will 100% be returning & 100% recommend.
Enjoy!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this fabulous cottage. The cottage is beautiful and very spacious with plenty to do and central to lots of great locations. The hot tub is brilliant and the whole family loved it. We got a lovely welcome pack upon arrival and the owner was very helpful with giving suggestions for days out and anything else we needed. The friendly dogs were an added bonus and my children loved playing with them. We will be booking again next year!

First class accommodation, very friendly and helpful owner, gorgeous location and generous welcome pack. The hot tub was an added bonus. Everything was clean, super large and fluffy towels - can' think of a single thing that was amiss or had not been thought of. Would book again. Oh - and we loved Ben and Maxwell the farm dogs who were friendly and came to say hello every day without ever being intrusive or looking to enter the property.
