A five-minute stroll to Westfield Shopping Centre, Shepherd’s Bush High Street and within walking distance of Notting Hill and Holland Park, this family home couldn’t be more in the thick of it—although you couldn’t possibly tell while inside its quiet sanctuary. Whitewashed walls soothe every room; colour only in the soft furnishings and book spines—we particularly love the abstract art in the open-concept living space. Strategically illuminated by skylights and bi-folding doors, the kitchen-dining portion feels like the heart of the home, calling for breakfasts together in the morning sunshine and lively dinners that last well into the evening. On warm days, the patio is all set up for brunch al fresco. But if you don’t feel like cooking, you can catch the tube into central London for countless eateries beside some of the world’s most famous landmarks.
