Located in Rye Harbour, right next to the Nature Reserve, this lovely little couples' hideaway is the perfect place to spend some relaxing time away. The studio apartment has been designed to maximise on space and has velux windows and a Juliette balcony, letting lots of natural light flood in. There is a wall mounted Smart TV which you can watch from either the comfort of the king size bed or the corner sofa and it has a well equipped kitchen and dining area. There is a ground floor shower room with stairs to the living area, lit with inset porthole lights, in keeping with the nautical tones used throughout the decoration. Locally there is a food store selling one of everything, an art gallery and tea room, a foodie pub and a great cafe on the slipway. You are able to walk right into the Nature Reserve (with Discovery Centre and cafe), which is managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust, who offer guided walks and events and is a great opportunity to discover the wildlife and history. The reserve has more than 90 species of birds nesting, reedbeds, saltmarshes and islands. There are protected rare plants and shingle flowers, grazing sheep and bird watching hides. Close by ancient Rye is full of interesting shops and restaurants. Camber Sands is just a bit further along the road as are the towns of Battle and Hastings.
