St Mellyn lies in an area of Cornwall called the Cornish Riviera (the south coast which is somewhat more sheltered then the rest of the county) in the small village of Portmellon. This spacious, detached house which has 5 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely west-facing garden, is perfect for families or groups of friends wanting to get away from the business of life. Just a couple of minutes’ walk takes you down to Portmellon Cove – a sandy beach which can be completely covered during high tide, making it perfect for crabbing and you can launch kayaks or small boats from the free slipway. There is a traditional Cornish pub in the cove called "The Rising Sun Inn" which has a lovely beamed bar and enviable views over the bay. The nearby fishing village of Mevagissey is less than a mile away around the headland if you fancy a stroll along the South West Coast Path.
