Amidst the charming low-rises and red bricks of Brooklyn, this sleek little apartment is a haven of modernity inside. Raw concrete pillars and a wall of corner windows create a sunny and industrial-chic living area, with plush velvet sofas and armchairs for relaxing. A full kitchen has everything you need to whip up every meal of the day and there’s a dedicated desk to work remotely if you need (though those city skyline views might be a glorious distraction). Our favourite thing? It has to be the huge, sweeping terrace perched over the rooftops of Brooklyn and with a view out to the iconic Manhattan skyline. Out here, you can dine at the table, or just enjoy a drink as the sun sets over the city. Come bedtime, you can admire the twinkling lights from floor to ceiling windows in the master bedroom, and kids will love the cosy tent-like bed – a ready-made fort.
