Dubai Mall, Souq Al Bahar and the world-famous Burj Khalifa are all a stone's throw away from this cosy flat. You'll find it in Old Town, nestled in a characterful building that harks back to the past. It may not be a swanky skyscraper, but we like the old-world atmosphere – and you won't be short of mod-cons, either. There's speedy wi-fi and a desk for remote working, plus the kitchen has more than enough space to whip up a meal or two. Outside, swaying palm trees flank the communal pool, but our favourite spot is the private balcony – sit back with an Arabic coffee and admire the views of the world's tallest building.
