Simply the best.. the house is stunning, everything you need thought of and the extra touches are so thoughtful. Chocolates, the hamper, wood for the fire, I could go on. The housekeeper Claire, was brilliantly responsive to questions, and went above and beyond at helping with suggestions of where to go etc.. The location is stunning and there’s ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors straight from the door. Couple of minutes to the beach, walks and up some steps to a fantastic bbq area and wood fired hot tub. We ate at the local pub, joined in quiz night, sampled lots of food (especially the longstore in Charlestown) and we did all of this with our dog in tow. Stayed in a few places in Pentewan but for my money this has to be the best!

Garden terrace is a total nightmare - up a steep narrow flight of stone stairs with a drop on either side to an artificial grassed area. I wouldn’t let children go up there or if you have any slight problems at all with walking/knees - definitely not for you!
The gravel access is also a big problem, and getting in and out of the property you have to hold up the traffic on a very steep hill to let you manoeuvre out and in to the gravel lane.
The house is tired and definitely needs updating - overall we were quite disappointed and the description is misleading :(

I can hands down say without argument this is the best cottage/holiday let/holiday home we have ever come across.
It is clear both the owner and those in charge of running it have put a great amount of thought, love and care into making this a truly perfect home from home.
The cottage itself is light and airy and coastal whilst managing to be equally warm and inviting.
The interior is of an excellent standard and feels like a real show of luxury and style.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make a self catering holiday as easy as it can be. Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine etc.
We received the most beautiful welcome hamper filled with essentials and delicious farm shop bacon and sausages and scones and clotted cream!
The beds are incredibly comfortable and we have both slept like a dream for the past two weeks.
The cinema room and entertainment selections are brilliant. Sky cinema, Netflix, PS4 and Xbox. There was also a lovely bottle of gin and tonic as a special treat waiting for us in here!
The beach is a five minute walk from the cottage (there is a hill!), and only 5 mins walk from the village pub and a couple of small and sweet cafes. We have found the locals to be lovely and friendly and the beach both serene and beautiful, although we were here out of season and I’m told by the locals that it is bustling village in the summer.
We booked here as a delayed honeymoon after discovering we were pregnant and not wanting to fly abroad but I am now so glad we did. I can’t imagine anywhere we could have made more perfect memories.
Claire who looks after the property could not have been more welcoming and helpful on hand for anything we needed.
She had left a bottle of champagne as a congratulatory treat for us and made sure the heating was on before we arrived.
The team came in after our first week to clean, bring fresh bedding and towels.
I couldn’t rave about Sea Cliff Cottage enough and we only wish we didn’t have to leave!
Thank you so much Claire.
We can’t wait to come back again.

What a wonderful stay we had at sea cliff cottage, we felt like we was home the entire stay. The log burner kept us very toasty, and the hot tub even warmer! loved the games room to watch the boxing in. (PS4 and Xbox on site). Showers were fantastic, plenty of amenities supplied. The host was even so kind to provide a breakfast hamper for when we arrived and a bottle of gin for the evening. The house keeper Claire was always on hand if we needed any help with anything. Our dog Howie loved his stay also, plenty of beautiful walks and beaches in this part of the country. We’ve got a young baby and all facilities were provided (travel cot and high chair). 100% recommend and will stay again.

We arrived in the evening at the cottage to find the most wonderful hamper waiting for us with the most delicious local produce. The cottage is light and bright with beautiful decor throughout and so well equipt with everything you could possibly need, very cosy and comfy indeed! This location is second to none and only a few minutes walk down to the local beach and Mevagissey is a good walk over the cliffs, amazing scenery and some wonderful restaurants in the Harbour when you get there. highly recommend this cottage and the location. Will be returning at every opportunity!!

We arrived early evening just in time for the sunset and sitting on the lower terrace with a chilled glass of Proseco was a lovely to start our visit. What an amazing location, sitting on top of a hill overlooking Pentewan Habour. The facilities at the cottage have been really well thought out, everything's easy to find and operate. The Welcome Hamper was exactly that with the shops being shut when we arrived. So we had no problems for breakfast with the wonderful bread, bacon, eggs, scones and clotted cream. The Pentewan beach is a very short 5 minute walk as is the local pub with a great atmosphere and the food was pretty good as well. The cottage is so well located for visiting other villages and towns like Mevagissey and Port Mellon. We had our three dogs with us and I think they enjoyed the stay even more than us, Watergate Beach being their favourite with so much sand to run around on and the dog friendly The Beach Hut restaurant to collapse in while we enjoyed some fabulous Mojitos. I would very happily recommend the cottage to anyone but hope they don't go so it's free the next time we want to visit!

Cannot recommend Sea Cliff cottage highly enough. Beautiful cottage so calm and comfortable with a lovely outside terrace to take in the sunset. Also, one of the best welcome hampers we've had!! Excellent location a five minute walk to the stunning breach and a 10 minute drive from Mevagissey and Charlestown where there are some really good restaurants plus the Eden project which is a must to visit. We will definitely be back many thanks for a wonderful stay.
