The view from this duplex apartment lets you know just how close you are to Whitby’s long stretch of sandy beach. Just across the road, you can make your way to the beach-hut-lined promenade and paddle in the shallows in just two minutes on foot. Then there’s the centre of town, set around a pretty harbour where folk catch crabs and packed with award-winning fish and chip restaurants, just a ten-minute walk away.

The big kitchen really catches the eye, in sleek black with gold trim, and a view of the sea and sand from the windows. Vast and warm-toned, the living room is a cosy space to end the day on soft leather sofas and armchairs, or perhaps dining by the view of the rolling countryside on the other side of the building. A collection of holiday reads and board games make for quiet evenings and quality time. Each bedroom is styled in soft pastels, and waking up to the view of the sea is simply a delight.

*This home is a split level apartment with stairs inside so may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
*There is one en-suite bathroom and two of the bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill shower room.
*One of the bedrooms sleeps three guests in a double and a single so would be best suited to families.
*Parking is provided by a scratchcard system and there is additional free parking a short walk away.
*The dedicated workspace is ample, but it's in a hallway area rather than its own room.
*There's a bar and eatery on the ground floor which can be noisy at times.
