Designed by an architect, this apartment has the wow factor. The colourful open-plan living space is great for entertaining (it also accommodates two guests on a sofa bed at full capacity). Some of the bedrooms have desks too for when you want to catch up on work emails. The location here is fantastic as well – you’ll be within a short stroll of the Palais Royal. Other places of interest within walking distance include the Louvre Museum and the Jardin des Tuileries.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
*Though there's enough bed space for fourteen people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of ten.
*The dining table seats ten people and there are seats for four guests in the living area.
*A couple of the bedrooms are quite narrow. However, they have everything you need for a comfortable night's sleep.
*Two bathrooms don't have toilets, including the en-suite, these are separate and shared (two in total).
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
