This luxurious lodge is located in the popular Rosbeg area of Westport on the shores of Clew Bay. This beautiful lodge offers views of the water with its own private landscaped garden. It is perfect for a relaxing holiday and if you are on a first visit to Ireland the perfect base for touring.

We really enjoyed this stunning property which was just as described. One of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in. It was spacious, querky, and well equipped. We especially liked the big kitchen diner and comfy lounge. Excellent location with a good selection of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance and supermarkets only a short drive away. Susan Met us on arrival and was the perfect host. Tricky to locate so could do with a nameplate at the gate.

I Enjoyed my stay in this beautiful holiday home.It was very nice and spacious.the house was first class all mod cons and thoroughly clean through out.The beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect.Perfect holiday home for any get away

Beautiful home was immaculately clean, comfortable and well situated to Westport. You are just off the bay. You could throw a rock from the house into the bay, but the view is limited. 20-30 minute walk from the front door to the heart of Westport. There are good pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Susan, our host, was gracious and accommodating. My wife left some jewelry behind and Susan posted it us without charge. We hope to return sometime soon.

We (family of 5) are just back from a week long stay at Rosbeg Gate Lodge and everything was perfect. Ideal location, close to quay area with plenty bars and restaurants, pier area nearby and c 15 min walk to town (or 5 min drive). House was spotless and had everything we needed. Susan was there to meet us when we arrived and was very helpful throughout the week with recommendations of where to go etc. Would recommend 100%

Gorgeous house in an excellent location - We didn’t want to leave! I spent a lot of time reading in the light-filled conservatory or else walking in the lovely surrounds: the Quay and Westport House and grounds are very close. Susan is extremely helpful and we would definitely return.

We stayed in Rosbeg lodge for a week with our children. It was such a beautiful property inside & out. It is set on a fabulous waterfront with an excellent location, only minutes walk to the harbor & some lovely restaurants & cafes. The host Susan is possibly the nicest most accommodating person we have ever met. She made our stay an absolute pleasure & 100% we will be coming back & cannot rate is highly enough. Would give it more than 5stars ******

Susan is an excellent, welcoming and charming host. The location is excellent, just off the Quays and on the banks of Clew Bay, with easy access to swimming, cafes, the grounds of Westport House, and the town centre itself. The house itself is very well furnished and the decor is exquisitely tasteful so it’s always a pleasure to return. This was our second booking, having been here the previous year, and it is our intent to return next summer. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Rosbeg Gate Lodge. It is a very comfortable, tasteful and excellently located house - probably better to describe it as a home. It is within walking distance to pubs and restaurants at the Quay, and has lovely walks from the doorstep. Susan is a wonderful host and took care of any request we had immediately, and with a smile. You can be assured that on arrival the place will be spotless. We will definitely be back.

Susan was an excellent host- she thought of everything, was very responsive, went the extra mile and added a lot of extras. The house was immaculate. well equipped and spotlessly clean. Added extras like the garden furniture and fire wood for stoves were appreciated. The location was excellent- close to shops, restaurants, bars, the Greenway and all the delights that Mayo has to offer. The best self-catering we've experienced (and we have stayed in a lot)

We had a wonderful stay in Rosbeg Gate lodge. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. It’s located in a really scenic location while also being very close to some lovely restaurants and also very near to Westport House & gardens. It’s a very comfortable house and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday there. The owner was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be recommending it to others.
