What a great place to stay in comfort and explore all of Kerry. The house was great, clean, luxurious and well set up. We were welcomed in classic Irish tradition with a great chat, and some fresh scones and the local tips such as taking the family up Strickeen Mountain were worth their weight in gold! Looking forward to coming back.

Our stay at this home has been our best experience yet. The home itself is beautiful (even better than the listing photos!) and the location is gorgeous, but it was Anne herself that made us feel truly welcome and special. She personally greeted us and said goodbye when we checked out. She thoughtfully provided us with a welcome basket of treats as well as helpful instructions (a tayto sandwich!) and guidance about activities in the Killarney area. The home is outside of the town but Anne provided us with information on local transportation options as we opted not to drive ourselves. Anne also walked us through how to use the various appliances and unique features of her home. Anne and her home are truly gems and I hope we will be able to stay with Anne the next time we are in Ireland!

Rocklands House is a hidden gem and we had a fantastic time during our stay there August 2019. Anne is a fantastic host, very warm and friendly and her home was very clean, organised and suitable for our family with plenty of space for the kids to have their time. The location was perfect just a few kilometres from Kate Kearney’s Cottage which we kept going back up to as the scenery was just beautiful. Overall 10/10 Will definitely be back to Rocklands House and Kerry. The Kilroe’s.
