This place is a wonderful house in an evocative and beautiful setting. Cora herself made us feel at home and provided accurate and helpful information, both with regard to her house and activities in the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

we had a lovely short break, we had 9, 6, 4, 3, and 2 and a half year old with us, the house was beautifully decorated winter white frnishings, and had lovely unique pieces around the different rooms so a bit worrying minding the smaller humans, but would be ideal for adult renters.
lovely big garden for them to play in, and although no tv, microwave or toaster are listed, which I never thought to check it being an Irish rental, the AGA oven was easy to use, and we managed fine, but think about suitable foods if bringing small children

Lovely quiet location. A walk down the lane good for the soul. The house was very nicely decorated and modern touches along with a country feel. The kitchen was warm and welcoming. The living room a joy. We lit a nice fire. Toasted bread on the ever hot. Bedrooms nicely laid out. Bunk bed room great for the kids. Would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at Cora’s house. The location is perfect for exploring all the wonderful places Sligo has to offer. Feels remote but is actually close to lots of amenities. The house was clean and had top quality bedding, towels, kitchen accessories etc. Cora was an amazing host and was responsive whenever needed. Would love to stay there again.

Cora is a kind, informative and engaging host. The space is warm, welcoming and generous. The location is well situated, connected bur remote enough to feel like a proper break/getaway. Would highly recommend!

Cora’s place was just fantastic. 7 of us stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to chill, read a book, edit photos, have a few Guinness and watch to sunset. Cora’s hospitality is one of the best I have experienced with any B&B host. From a phone call a few days beforehand, to surprises in the local restaurant with a bottle of wine Everything about the house was perfect ! The style of the place is great. The old school Irish cooker was great. Some people on here complaining about there being no toaster but you need to use the Range for making toast! You can walk 5 mins to the inland section of the sea not great for swimming but a nice view if you don’t mind getting your shoes mucky. The view from the bedroom is lovely with Benbulben in clear view ! I would 100% recommend this house for those wishing to get out of the city and into the silent woods...

We stayed for 3 nights in fantastic weather. The location close to Streedagh beach and down narrow country lanes was idyllic especially in good weather. House was very comfortable and nicely designed. Minor issues in kitchen were lack of a toaster, kettle and instructions for how to work the cooker (beside the cooker). Very simple fixes which will probably be done by the time you read this. Garden/patio area isn't well kept but this was probably more obvious to us because of the good weather. Overall a really good option and I would happily return.
