Downstairs, the living area is an open, social space with a bespoke kitchen. The sleek breakfast bar is a great place to gather and plan your day, while the Belfast sink adds a bit of country charm. Works by local artist David Stead depict the Yorkshire countryside just beyond your doorstep. It’s all peace and quiet here as the home looks out over the courtyard and gardens, with an outdoor seating set on the patio if you fancy a tipple in the evening sun. The great bonus is that you’re on the outskirts of the charming cathedral city of Ripon, and it’s just a ten-minute walk into the centre.

*There is a Tesla charging point and private parking
*Thirsk train station is a twenty minute taxi ride away
*The owners live in the extended grounds but their property is separate and they use a different driveway and entrance
*Host can only accommodate Monday or Friday check-ins and check-outs
