Rainbow Eucalyptus

Rainbow Eucalyptus is a real independent enterprise. Chiara lives upstairs, so she’s usually around should you have any questions, and takes care of everything, from the check-ins to the cleaning, herself (with a bit of help from a co-host). The flat contrasts a fairly calm living room with much bolder bedrooms, and that gives it a bit of dynamism, which is always welcome. It’s not particularly central – it’ll take you fifteen minutes to walk into Chinatown – but there is a metro station around the corner, so that makes a real difference.


Home truths:
*The flat's on the third floor, and there's no lift
*Chiara and her family used to live here, and it feels more like a lived-in home, with the wear and tear that entails, than like a hotel or something similar
*It's a bit of a trek to get into the city centre
*The sink in the second bathroom is weirdly small
*Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room
*There's a major railway line at the end of the road, so you'll be able to hear passing trains
