Pyrenees Vista

The mid-century farmhouse in the Catalonian countryside feels as though it has endless rooms and amenities. First of all, there are two swimming pools – one indoor and one outdoor – so you don’t have to wait for a sunny day to get your laps in. Inside, there is plenty to keep you entertained too – a games room with foosball, air hockey and ping pong, and an absolutely massive dining table on the first floor, facing a wall of glass for a beautiful mountain view as you dine. The sleek, modern kitchen has everything you need to whip up a family feast and the bedrooms embrace the old-world charm of the villa with exposed stone walls.

From here it’s easy to explore the pretty towns of central Catalonia by car. Gironella, perched on a river, is a fifteen-minute drive and you can reach Vic in half an hour. For the ultimate cultural day trip, perhaps head to Barcelona, just over an hour’s drive away.
