Property Overview

A visit to an area as beautiful as the Cotswolds deserves accommodation that's just as easy on the eye and this recently renovated home on the edge of Kingham more than fits the bill.

On the ground level, there are not just one, but two living rooms, each filled with comfy furnishings and framed artwork, and one with a wood-burning fireplace to curl up next to during the cooler months. The open-concept kitchen-dining area is a contemporary take on the traditional farmhouse kitchen, with a blue range cooker and sleek wooden surfaces.

Look out the huge glass doors in this space and you'll see the home's walled garden, which has plenty of seating for alfresco gatherings, plus a barbecue and fire pit so festivities can continue into the evening. When you're ready to explore, there's no shortage of scenic walking routes and quaint villages to explore in the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The home itself is situated on a quiet lane which trails into a bridle path at the edge of the village. A fifteen minute stroll this way brings you to Daylesford Organic and the Bamford Wellness Spa, where you can find both organic produce and some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Even closer to home you'll find two of the village's highly acclaimed gastropubs, the Wild Rabbit and the Kingham Plough, just a five-minute walk away. A five-minute drive will take you to Diddly Squat Farm Shop, and a twenty-minute drive will take you to the renowned Soho Farmhouse.

Home truths:
*As the downstairs flooring is mostly stone, the host recommends that guests bring slippers
*There's room for parking at the home and an electric vehicle charger is available for guests to use
*A cot, high chair, fireplace guards, children's tableware and babysitter recommendations can be provided
*The home is spread over two floors so it might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility
*This is a family home for parts of the year, so personal possessions might be on display
