Head down to the gardens and grab a lounger by the pool, or pack a picnic lunch to enjoy under a palm tree. When you've soaked up enough sun, head into Cascais' historic centre, a kilometre away, in search of everything from the freshest seafood to the richest ice cream. Less than fifteen minutes in the opposite direction, and you'll arrive at the dramatic Boca do Inferno, or Hell's Mouth, where waves explode up through the rocks in an impressive display of the power of Mother Nature. Finally, if you fancy spending a day or two exploring Lisbon, you're just a forty-five-minute scenic train ride away.
