Pines in Chapel Cleeve, near Blue Anchor, is a charming pet-friendly chalet-bungalow that can accommodate up to 2 guests in a double bedroom, with a private garden exclusively for guests. It's a lovely location to access Exmoor and the Brendon Hills, as it is near the coast and the hills.
Situated in a quiet residential area surrounded by woods, Pines is a chalet/bungalow located close to Blue Anchor's coast. The seafront is just a couple of minutes' drive away, and the enclosed garden at the rear of the property provides unobstructed views of open fields and the Brendon hills beyond. Although the kitchen provides glimpses of the promenade and the sea, the property is not overlooked from any direction.

The lounge is of the same size and opens up onto the patio through two French doors, providing plenty of space for relaxation.
There is also a small utility/storage room next to the hall that you are welcome to use, although it mainly houses the owner's belongings.
The newly replaced and expanded decking is a great place to relax and take in the fantastic views, especially at sunset, which can be stunning.
You are welcome to bring your dog with you for a £15 supplement (one maximum), but please don't leave it alone in the property at any time. Thank you for your cooperation.
Facilities The front door leads into a compact hall with access to the kitchen which is provided with table and two stools and outlooks over rear garden affording country views from your seating area. The usual white goods are all there except a dishwasher and there is ample cupboard storage. Plenty of cutlery and china provided along with an array of utility items. The combi boiler gives virtual instant hot water on demand. Also off the hall is a small utility room, primarily for owners storage but is available to guests.
Further access from the hall into the spacious lounge equipped with small table and two chairs. A P.C./Laptop 27" monitor and printer with connecting leads for your use should you wish. There is also a log effect electric fire. The lounge TV provides Freesat channels.
Sofa with cushions and an armchair with footstool further compliment the living area. Lighting from smart bulbs can be dimmed or simply turned off and on. The Wi Fi router is situated in this room and is unlimited. Double French doors lead directly onto the patio.
A further door gives access to the double bedroom with a large glass fronted three door wardrobe, bedside units, two chest of drawers and two bedside lights, also a small TV and LCD clock, plus two small chairs. All linen is provided.
Gas fired central heating radiators are fitted in kitchen, hall, lounge and bedroom plus one storage radiator in the lounge as backup for the Autumn/Winter months.
All utilities plus Wi-Fi and linen are included in the price.
Location Chapel Cleeve is very close to the sea and Blue Anchor promenade with two cafes and a pub. The latest café on the sea front opened a couple of years ago and is owned by the adjacent caravan park where light snacks and drinks are served. There are items for sale and newspapers can be ordered for collection. A little further along is the Driftwood café which has been established for many years and has a good reputation for its meals at reasonable costs. During holiday season there is normally an Ice cream van in evidence and all along the 3/4 mile promenade is free ample parking. Further along towards Minehead is Dunster beach where again there is ample (meter) parking and inland Dunster itself with the famous Yarn market and National Trust castle. High above Minehead is North Hill with numerous walks and views, an Explorer map of the area is provided. Minehead is the nearest large town with all the amenities you would expect with several named retail outlets and is also home to the West Somerset Railway.
