Perfect for a family, Pillar Box Red is a calm escape in Neve Tzedek. There’s no doubt that the living room is the heart of the home – it’s incredibly stylish with its many quirky souvenirs and colourful accents, and it also sets the scene for cosy nights-in. Unfortunately, the bedrooms aren’t of the same calibre as the rest of the home, but we won’t hold that against an otherwise charming home. And if you (like us) love ice cream, you’ll be happy to hear that Anita’s is just across the street.
Home truths: *It sleeps four guests, but two of them would have to be on a sofa bed in bedroom two
*When we visited, the furniture on the balcony appeared a little rusty – we’ve let the host know
*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks
*Even though there’s a lift in the building, the home is not entirely step-free
*We couldn’t find a home manual
*The wifi wasn’t as fast as we would have liked it to be
