Flooded with light and with traditional detailing, this Parisian pad has tranquillity running through its core. The open-plan living and dining room has to be our favourite spot – just the place for catching up with loved ones over a home-cooked meal. That said, with French eateries lining the streets below and serving up authentic cuisine, meals out are a must. The 17th arrondissement itself is an ideal base if you’re in Paris for a spot of sightseeing. Nearby, you’ll find the Arc de Triomphe and Parc Monceau – or hop on the metro for trips further afield.

*There's no air conditioning here. It could get a little hot during the summer.
*The WC is separate from the bathroom in this home.
*The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
