Experience Salcombe like never before at this iconic waterfront house boasting panoramic views of the harbour. An excellent choice for boating enthusiasts, this former boat-building yard, run by the legendary Harry Cook, retains its slipway, jetty, boat store and running mooring on the estuary. Inside, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined into a practical, light-filled home with five spacious bedrooms, four modern bathrooms, and a handy utility room to store water sports paraphernalia and sandy shoes. Location-wise, you couldn’t be more central, with the bustling restaurants and shops of Salcombe on your doorstep.
Home truths: *There is one parking permit provided for this home for the long-stay car park at Creek End (summer) or Shadycombe (winter).
*Due to the unguarded slipways and low walls within the grounds, this property is not suitable for children under eight years old or those with mobility issues. All children over the age of eight must be supervised at all times whilst outside.
*The running mooring (with a maximum length of 15' for the boat and outboard) is available for guest use. Please note, the host’s private boats are stored in the boathouse and are not available for use, but you’re welcome to store boating peripheries.
