After a wander along Whitby's cobbled streets, make yourself at home on the sofa and rest weary legs. Relax with a glass of wine or a local brew, catching up on your favourite TV shows as the fire crackles in the wood-burning stove. Feeling peckish? Let your culinary skills run wild in the sleek kitchen – it may be on the smaller side, but we think it's got everything you need to prepare a crab bap for tea. Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms and equally stylish bathrooms await – just the ticket after a long day by the coast.

Speaking of, you're just a quick stroll from the sprawling seafront and even closer to the village's network of independent shops, delicious restaurants and old-world pubs. Everything from the famous 199 steps to Whitby Abbey is within walking distance – and with the train station also within easy reach, exploring up and down the Yorkshire coast is a breeze.
