Hadleigh is a small ancient wool town situated between Ipswich and Colchester convenient for the coast and the attractions of Suffolk.
The cottage is beautifully finished with just about everything you could need for a week's stay. Most of the equipment, china and linen was from John Lewis and the best quality. The owner who runs a boutique bed and breakfast in the town centre had thought out every detail including a fridge stocked with lots of goodies and a cream cake.
There is only one off road parking space but the street is very quiet and there is plenty to of street parking.
There are three bedrooms one king sized and two doubles but this property is not suitable for young children. The garden, all at the front of the property is fenced but the window sills are low upstairs and would not be safe.

I booked Mulberry Cottage for one of my daughters, her husband and two children to stay at for the Christmas Week in 2018. I made the booking in the spring of 2018 and Stuart the owner could not have been more helpful. We live near the cottage and walk past regularly and note that the cottage is maintained in immaculate condition, is always kept clean and is beautifully furnished.

For Christmas, Stuart had added a number of festive touches including a lit Christmas Tree. He had also stocked the fridge with milk, bread, breakfast supplies, a bottle of Prosecco and a lovely fruit cake. There was also a high chair and travel cot, which were put to good use.

My daughter and her family were delighted with the accommodation - it worked brilliantly for them. One of the grandchildren said she wanted to swap the cottage for her own home. I would definitely recommend this property to others without any caveats. Also, Hadleigh is a lovely town to visit - do come.

We booked Mulberry Cottage for a family celebration. It is in a lovely Suffolk village with good amenities. The cottage itself is stunning, more like a home than a rental.
Stuart left many extra goodies, breakfast, wine and a homemade cake. The beds are very comfortable. We will definitely make a return visit.
