Nestled five kilometres from La Giettaz, this home is nestled in its own secluded piece of paradise. The drive to reach the chalet may not be the easiest, and snow tyres and chains, as well as a 4x4 vehicle, are a must, but it’s worth the effort. Surrounded by nature, this is somewhere you can truly switch off – and, step inside, and you’re met with a contemporary yet homely space. When you’re ready to hit the slopes, experienced skiers can ski straight from the chalet via a blue slope – otherwise, it’s a mere 1.5 kilometres to the lifts at Le Plan.
Home truths: *The running water here is from a cistern with a filtering system. We recommend guests bring bottled water to drink – the water is fine for bathing, brushing teeth and cooking.
*Three bedrooms can be set up as kings or twins on request.
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance and bring your own cot linen.
*We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – parking is available for three cars here, 300 metres from the chalet which you may need to navigate on foot in periods of heavy snow. In winter, a 4x4 is necessary with snow tyres and snow chains to access the chalet, and due to the gravel access track, a high-clearance vehicle is required in summer months, too.
