The cutting angles of this modern villa are softened on all sides by lush botanical foliage filling the grounds. A covered terrace set with a cluster of dining tables is illuminated by huge Moroccan lamps at twilight and boasts a built-in barbecue of steel and concrete. Sofas and loungers are strewn across the immaculate lawn, and you can choose to soak up the sun, or lounge in the shade of the pool terrace after a dip in the cooling turquoise water.

Wake to the sound of birds and whip up breakfast in the huge kitchen and enjoy it on the garden terrace, or by the fireplace in the grand lounge. Should you need to get some work done, there’s a library-like study with two computers and the creatives of the group can spend evenings strumming a guitar or tinkering on the piano.

If you want to get out and explore the surrounding countryside or head into the centre of Cascais in fifteen minutes, a handful of bikes in the carport are at your disposal, and there’s plenty of room for parking in shade too.
