A little further afield, the Mountain Cable car (a five-minute drive) has fantastic vistas of the city. Or, spend the day on one of the stunning beaches nearby, including Mouille Point Beach, just over 1 kilometre away.

Phew, so much to do – after all that exploring, take a seat on the balcony and enjoy a glass of South African wine. We adore the majestic Table Mountain and canal outlook from here.
