The large rooms will ensure that you still have some privacy, and a space to retreat to whenever you need to fully relax. Many also come with a small, laptop-friendly desk that’ll accommodate those who need to send an email or jump on a quick zoom call. We can’t guarantee you’ll be in the mood for any sort of work, however, not when you can step into the vibrant backyard with ciders and a bowl of crisps and just ease back into the garden chair under the mild British sun.

Old Moat Park is a two-minute walk away, perfect for a picnic lunch with the whole group– the sportier of the bunch might even take to the basketball court for a little friendly competition. There’s a number of restaurants and cafes, as well as a bakery for breakfast pastries, but of course, when in Britain, you’re going to want to visit a pub. Take a four-minute stroll to the local and when you return, you can clear the kitchen island to play cards or charades.
