This is a small, cosy home, located right around the corner from the Sé Cathedral. It would best suit a couple of urban explorers who need a modern, central base that will allow them to move between the medieval neighbourhood of Alfama and the modern zones around Baixa-Chiado. Although the design is quite functional, we liked the touches of yellow in the living room and the azulejo tiles in the kitchen.
Home truths: * When we tested the WiFi, it was too slow to support demanding tasks like streaming, which is unfortunately quite common in this part of Lisbon
* The kitchen is particularly tiny – you'll struggle to cook an elaborate meal in it
* There are no entertainment options in this home, so you'll have to go out for entertainment
* You can physically fit two more sleepers on the sofa bed, but it will be tight
