We really liked the feel of this classic Notting Hill home, it’s stylish while also laid-back, which reflects the vibe of the neighbourhood. There’s a gas fire in the living room, charming wooden floors, and a glass chandelier in the bedroom. It’s filled with personal character too, such as the fashion photography and vintage sewing machine. While the kitchen is fairly small, it’s well stocked and there’s a great selection of cookbooks to inspire you. Another highlight is the generous balcony – enjoy a BBQ in the summer or cosy up with a cup of tea and a blanket in the winter.
Home truths: * The home is on the first floor of the building and there is no lift, so you will need to climb some stairs
* Your host has a cat, so the home wouldn't be great for those with sensitive allergies – the cat will be away during your stay, however, if you would like a friendly house-guest for the weekend please just ask the host
* It's a little bit of a walk (around eight minutes) to the nearest tube station
* Some of the art in the home features adult themes
