On Lake Garda's southeastern shore, we loved this two-storey home's fantastic views – we can't think of a better way to unwind than looking out across the lake from the alfresco dining area, preferably with a glass of wine. Inside, the view follows you thanks to the French doors in the living space, while we suspect the sauna will be a popular spot with your group. The family suite has two twins and a double, making it less than ideal if you're travelling with a group of friends – that said, there is a partition, affording a bit of privacy. When it's time to branch out, both the nearest beach and the town of Bardolino are within a 3km radius.
Home truths: *There are ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms here. The family suite is in the basement, so it gets limited sunlight. *Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking for one car in the garage and up to two cars on the driveway. *The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. There are also small objects on display at a low level in the living room, so young children need to be supervised here as well.
