One step inside and we bet you'll make a beeline for the balcony – and we don't blame you if you do. With vistas across the city and a bird's-eye view of the train station, it's a sweet spot to unwind no matter the time of day. We can easily picture ourselves out here with a cup of coffee in the morning sun or ending the evening with a glass of wine or a local ale as the night rolls in.

For a laid-back night at home, sprawl out on the sofa and watch a movie – your host provides Prime, Disney+, Fire TV and Netflix, so you'll find something to suit everyone's taste. Come dinnertime, the kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking essentials should you fancy whipping up a meal, but as there's an array of restaurants and pubs all within walking distance, we're sure you'll be tempted out.

Numerous bus routes can whisk you away to the buzzing Northern Quarter and other popular neighbourhoods. Still, we're partial to nearby Castlefield – we can't resist the canalside walks, waterfront eateries and rocking live music venues.
