"Les Bastides de Lascaux M.6X", 3-room terraced house 46 m2 on 2 levels. Object suitable for 4 adults. Practical and comfortable furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 sofabed, 1 pull-out bed, dining table and TV. Exit to the terrace. Open kitchen (dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine).
The pool is too small for the many guests with children, completely overcrowded, unhygienic. The WiFi didn't work, multiple phone calls to the provider Passman, visits from the facility's technician, all in all it cost a lot of vacation time, in the end I canceled, I still haven't gotten my money back. The kitchen was tiny and you couldn't really cook there. There was no oven. Dogs barked at night. Taps were blocked when we arrived. Floors weren't mopped when we arrived.

A typical French resort. Amenities OK. Good value for money. - Inconvenient that you can't get to the house by car to load and unload. Carrying everything or getting a small trolley at the reception is absolutely impractical. - Also incomprehensible why mosquitoes/fly screens weren't at least in the bedrooms. All residents have complained about the mosquito infestation.

Lascaux IV can be reached on foot, by car various other Stone Age sites and of course many interesting places and chateaux on Vezère and Dordogne. The apartment is clean and fully equipped with all the necessary accessories, the staff is friendly, the handling of arrival and departure is quick and uncomplicated. Arrangement of the houses as a "bastide" - in a square shape with the terraces facing the inner surface - can mean a little high noise level on warm evenings.

Cottage was simple but good, the only point of criticism is shower heads in both bathrooms
