Tucked down a historic cobbled mews, this home is anything but boring. Don't be fooled by the cottage-core exterior – inside, the design is all about contemporary touches and sleek details. One of our favourite rooms is the main bathroom, which has a soaker tub and two lavish showers. There's also a second (albeit slightly smaller) suite, so nobody will feel left out. Upstairs, the living area opens onto a Juliet balcony with views of the mews, and there's a large kitchen ideal for culinarians. The cherry on top is the location. You're just a stone's throw from Harrods, Hyde Park, and the many eateries and shops in swanky Knightsbridge.
Home truths: *This is an upside-down house. Both bathrooms are on the lower ground floor, the two bedrooms are on the ground floor, and the kitchen and living space are on the first floor.
*One bathroom is accessible via a staircase from the bedroom, offering the option to be used as an en-suite with a dressing room.
*The Juliet balcony has nowhere to sit, but it still offers a nice view of the street.
*Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car at this location. Instead of driving, we suggest exploring on foot or taking advantage of easily accessible public transport. Knightsbridge Station is a thirteen-minute stroll away.
